Search Terms
When a name, location, or other lookup term is typed into a search box powered by a partner service, that query is sent to the provider operating the tool. Essex County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those submitted search terms.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read it, respond, and maintain ordinary business records. It is not shared outside the organization except when required by law or a valid legal process.
